Beginning his journey in the hospitality industry at the age of 13, Bivan gained hands-on experience in guest services, operations, and management. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he worked with prestigious five-star hotels and retail chains, refining his skills and consistently delivering memorable guest experiences. His deep-rooted passion drove him to excel in every facet of hospitality.

Bivan’s extensive industry experience fuelled his desire to innovate. Recognising gaps even within top-tier establishments, he envisioned a brand that combined exceptional service with guest-centric innovation. In 2010, he founded Ilara Hotels & Spa, with the aim of offering luxurious yet accessible experiences through personalised service and state-of-the-art amenities.

Together with his wife and co-founder, Goshmi Seth, Bivan meticulously planned and launched Ilara Hotels & Spa. United by a shared passion for hospitality, they established a distinct brand rooted in personal service, modern comforts, and a warm, welcoming ambience.

Bivan placed a strong emphasis on building a high-calibre team. Key figures include visionary co-founder Goshmi Seth, operational strategist Rahul Kaushal, financial expert CFO Chandrasekhar, and marketing head Chakradhar.
